Board and staff members of the Wedge gathered to honor recipients of the 2011 WedgeShare grants. Representatives from all organizations that won grants this year were present: Emergency Foodshelf Network, Youth Farm & Market Project, Cornucopia Institute, Open Arms of Minnesota, Farmer's Legal Action Group, Water Legacy, Minnesota Food Association, Gardening Matters and Urban Baby. Spokespersons from Emergency Foodshelf Network and Urban Baby briefly described their work.

Every year we hold this event we hear back from the guests how much they appreciate the opportunity to meet each other. The networking that goes on around the formal part of the event is a powerful reminder of how co-ops serve their communities.
