Collecting for Tornado Relief in Minneapolis

A tornado ripped through North Minneapolis and suburbs on Sunday May 22, destroying homes and displacing several hundred residents.

All register round-ups and donations, through the end of June 2011, will be sent to Minnesota Helps - North Minneapolis Recovery Fund. This will support both immediate and long-term needs of those affected by the tornado.

The Wedge will match donations up to $5,000.

Online giving through giveMN.org also carries match up to $200,000 from various Minnesota foundations.
