HBC General Merchandise Assistant Buyer

Job Description: HOURS:
Part-time or Full-time, Various hours, may include HBC shifts.

DUTIES:
Assist the GM Lead Buyer to effectively merchandise, manage, and ensure product variety and values that satisfy Wedge customers and meet department goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
At least one year experience in a fast-paced retail environment. At least 2 years experience working with general merchandise products similar to those sold at the Wedge. At least one year experience with retail ordering and merchandising. Knowledge of eco-friendly, natural, local etc GM suppliers and lines sufficient to make effective purchasing, pricing, and merchandising decisions. Familiarity with other natural products ie: Herbs and vitamins. Demonstrated customer service and strong communication skills. Demonstrated organization skills with great attention to detail. Computer literacy.

Pay Range: Commensurate with experience.
