Recall of Rising Moon Organics Mediterranean Garlic & Herb Ravioli containing unlabeled Soy Allergen
One lot only: UPC# 7-85030-55559-0 with "SELL BY APR 05 2012" printed on the front label.
Anyone in the household with soy allergies should not consume this product. If you wish to receive a refund on this product, please return it to the Wedge.
Voluntary Recall of 12oz Tejava Premium Iced Tea
As a precautionary measure, certain production lots of Tejava Premium Iced Tea in 12oz glass bottles are being recalled due to the possible presence of glass fragments which could be harmful if swallowed.
The 12oz Tejava production lot codes being recalled are:
1BT220, 1BT221, 1BT222, 1BT223, 1BT252, 1BT253, 1BT254, 1BT255, 1BT277, 1BT278, 1BT279, 1BT280, 1BT313
These production codes can be found on the back of the bottle.
We have removed all products with the impacted lot numbers from our shelves. If you have purchased the recalled product from the Wedge, please bring the bottle or receipt to the Customer Service counter for a full refund. If you have further questions, please contact Customer Service.
Note: The 1 liter size of Tejava Premium Iced Tea is not affected and is not part of this recall.
An update from Kadejan:
After review of documentation and further testing of the product and surfaces involved in the recall of Smoked Chicken Tenders delievered to the Wedge Community Co-op on October 14th, 2011, it was determined that the product in question was NOT adulterated at any time. This confirms Kadejan's expectation that the product was never adulterated. Again, this voluntary recall was issued out of extreme caution.
At this time, Kadejan Inc. is lifting the recall and is confident that any of the recalled product distributed by the Wedge and or consumed by the consumer is safe and free of adulteration.
Kadejan Inc. is sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused and is reviewing testing protocols and procedures to ensure this situation does not present itself again.

Larry Schultz Organic eggs have been voluntarily recalled. Out of caution, we have pulled all Larry Schultz eggs from our shelves until we receive more information.
The recall extends to all Larry's eggs, with exceptions as noted in the above linked notice. Please return any Larry's eggs for a full refund. Call us if you have any questions. Apologies for any confusion.
Kadejan Smoked Chicken Tenders purchased at the Wedge on or since Friday October 14, 2011.
Kadejan contacted us late Monday afternoon. Test results from the environment in which the product was produced are inconsistent for Listeria. Please return it for a full refund.
There is no reason to believe the product itself was contaminated. This recall is from an abundance of caution. We will continue to follow up with the company and give you information as we receive it.
This is a voluntary recall due an ingredient having been left off the label. There is no food safety or wholesomeness concern.
Organic SUNSHINE Burgers brand Organic Falafel Patty, size 8oz, with use-by dates Dec. 13, 2011 to June 2, 2012 (Product UPC: 007942130003).
The product label omitted the ingredient "organic split peas."

Thai Kitchen Spicy Thai Basil Noodle Cart, 9.7 oz., and Simply Asia Roasted Peanut Heat & Serve Noodle Bowl, 8.5 oz., have been recalled due to an undeclared milk ingredient, Sodium Casseinate, that has been discovered in the product and not identified on the package.
If you have purchased either of these products, please bring it back to the Customer Servce Desk for a full refund.
Sunripe, 1 lb. Mixed Nuts are being recalled because the in-shell hazelnut and mixed nut products containing hazelnuts may be contaminated with E.coli 0157:H7. There is a sell by date on the bag of 6/30/11.

Wellness Canned Cat Food (all flavors and sizes) with best by dates from 14APR13 through 30SEP13 and Wellness Canned Cat Food Chicken & Herring (all sizes) with 10NOV13 and 17NOV13 best by dates have been recalled and removed from the Wedge shelves. These cat foods contain less than adequate levels of thiamine, which is essential for cats.

Artisan Confections has issued a voluntary recall of Dagoba, New Moon, Rich Dark Chocolate squares because they may contain salmonella. This recall affects only UPC #8 10474 00209 3, Production Code 37HLB11.

FDA has issued a voluntary recall of shell eggs from Wright County Egg of Galt, Iowa because they have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella.
These include Radtke eggs, packaged and bulk, sold under the Boomsma brand with Plant ID 1026, 1413, 1946, 1720, and 1942 followed by date coding 136 to 229.
Anyone that has purchased these eggs should return them to the Wedge Customer Service desk for a full refund.

NewChapter brand Probiotic Colon has been recalled due to possible E.coli contamination. Containers with an expiration date of 2/29/2012 and a lot code of 01210350A have been recalled.
Items with this expiration date were available, but not sold, at the Wedge. Our currently stocked products have not been recalled. If you have any further questions, please contact Customer Service.
Frontier brand conventional bulk Curry Powder and Muchi Curry Powder have been recalled due to possible salmonella contamination.
The conventional Curry Powder was sold at the Wedge between Dec 29th & Jan 28th. The organic curry powder that we currently sell is not affected.
The recall for conventional Muchi Curry Powder is for product sold since Oct 26th.
