The Midtown Farmers Market's eighth season opens on May 1, 2010. Walk, bike, bus, or drive to the original site at 22nd and East Lake Street where vendors, musicians, and neighborhood shoppers will again transform an empty parking lot into a vibrant marketplace Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Enjoy local, seasonal produce, hot drinks and delicious crêpes, live market music, and the original work of local artists or simply come out to meet with your neighbors in the spring air.
A new feature this year will be the Gardens of Eagan Organic Farm stall. In May, the stall will feature organic seedlings-bedding plants for your garden. Grown by the experts at Gardens of Eagan, these certified organic seedlings will get your garden off to a great start. GOE will sell fresh produce all season at the market, as well.
All are welcome at the Midtown Farmers Market! We accept credit cards and EBT cards through our wooden token program. Our vendors also accept WIC-S/FMNP and WIC-CVV.
Tuesday afternoon markets (3 p.m. until 7 p.m.) will begin June 1 and will feature prepared food vendors for the first time, so stop by for a mid-week dinner at the market!
