Easing Parking at the Wedge

Share

To address weekend parking lot issues, we have promoted Gregg B. and Marcos C. to Lot Master on Saturday " Sunday from 11-7 starting 3/12. These familiar cashier/baggers will be responsible for directing traffic in the lot, helping customers find parking spots in the lot and nearby locations, and generally promoting peace and serenity outdoors during our busiest hours.

On weekends it is very common for all three Handicapped parking spots to be occupied by special-needs customers with handicapped tags displayed in their vehicles. Therefore we ask all customers to respect the law and and leave these spots clear for our special-needs clientele. Idling is not allowed, nor is "just running in for one thing." Eligible vehicles MUST have state-issued license plates or a permit conspicuously displayed in the windshield. On behalf of our many special-needs customers, the Wedge will have ineligible cars removed, and the State will issue a $250 fine for violators.

The Wedge is a busy place! According to sales data on an average 4-week period, the lowest sales traffic can be found during the following hours:

  • between 9am and 10:30am every day (plus fresh produce and baked goods)
  • the last hour of each day (9-10pm M-F, 8-9PM S-S)
  • Fridays after 5pm
