Mix, the newspaper published and supported by all the Twin City area co-ops, will not be automatically mailed to members anymore, starting with the May/June 2009 issue.
We love the Mix and we want you to keep reading it, so there will be plenty of copies at the store.
All the departments at the Wedge are looking at ways to reduce costs so that we keep our co-op in good shape. Postage rates have increased so much in the past few years that they are now the biggest cost of providing you with Mix. We hope you understand this step.
If you want to get Mix mailed to your home, here are three ways to do that:
Go to www.wedge.coop and click on Membership, then on "Changing your preferences" (in the left hand column). Enter your name, member number, and email address (if you have one). Then check the box by "I want to continue getting The Mix** mailed to my home." That will reinstate the mailing for Mix every issue.
Call 612-871-3993 and ask for the Membership Department or, at night, for VM box 420. Just leave your member number and name, and tell us to reinstate the Mix mailing.
Come to the Customer Service Desk when you are at the store and ask them to reinstate you— they can do it via the web site on the spot.
You can also use the "Changing your preferences" page to opt out of a mailed copy of At the Wedge in favor of an electronic notification, sign up for action alerts (no ads or promotions) and to sign up to take surveys from time to time, to help the Wedge board and management better understand your needs.
