We are going to give Silk unsweetened in the half gallon a try!! You can look for it in the Silk case in the next few weeks. Thank you. - Turk, Dairy Buyer

The stickers help customers know what they are buying. Also, it helps the cashiers know what you are buying so you are charged the correct price. They have their purpose. Thanks for the comment. P.S., If you rinse off your fruit the sticker will generally come off a little easier. -Dean, Produce Manager

Thanks for the concern. We cannot offer a second size of smoothies because of space and recipe limitations. Many of the drinks will not blend properly in that small size. We have modeled our operation after industry standards. Maybe you can share with a friend! -David, Deli Manager

You're right! Palmer would lose his organic certification! We'll have to start over. -Elizabeth, Membership

We sell a lot of yeast-free French Meadow bread here. Also, our own Wedge Bakery makes a sourdough bread that also does not have added yeast. -Ann, Bread Buyer

Thanks for the question. We removed it because the machine was repeatedly vandalized. We've replaced it three times and are unable to continue doing so. -Christina, Front End Manager

It has been a big hit - thanks for the comment. -Kari, Health & Bodycare Manager

Opening a restaurant is not currently under discussion. Fact: we are not experienced restaurateurs and most restaurants (over 90%) go out of business in a few years. It would be a huge financial risk for the co op. We'd need much more member input before undertaking such a venture. -Elizabeth, Member Services

Thank you for your suggestion. Currently we do not have a vegan cornbread recipe. We are researching this item and will let you know when we are able to offer it. -David, Deli Manager

This product is seasonally discontinued during the summer months due to melt down possibilities. The only way Lake Champlain will ship is overnight air - way too expensive. -Fern, Purchasing Manager

Thank you for your comments and questions. The sidewalk in front of the Wedge is public property. As a result, Greenpeace is out there because they can be, not because we have solicited them to appear. For the record, we are a grocery store, and do not make a habit of soliciting and/or endorsing any organization that chooses to proselytize in front of our store. -Christina, Front End Manager

Thank you for your comment. We are closed on Christmas and we do have reduced hours on New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Fourth of July and Christmas Eve. We also pay time and a half for holiday shifts. And - for what it's worth, most of the managers who have departments on the sales floor (HBC, Deli, Front End, Grocery, Meat & Seafood) work holidays as well. Lastly, I can say that at least in my department, holiday shifts are always the easiest shifts to get covered, because so many people want to work. I hope this assuages some of your concern. -Christina, Front End Manager
