While the copy deadline (July 1) for this issue of At The Wedge does not permit me to give a detailed examination of the Fiscal Year that ended June 30, I can tell you a few things about Sales, Customer Count and Average Basket size.

Sales at the store for Fiscal Year 07/08 were our highest ever: $29,592,000. This is a 7% increase over the previous year. Our cashiers checked out an average of 2,636 customers each day, an increase over last year of 74 customers or 3%. In the month of May, we had the highest average daily Customer Count yet recorded (by The Wedge, not in the universe) at 2,774, and in November we had the highest Average Basket (that's retail lingo for average transaction) at $34.46. Our absolutely busiest day in the year was, not surprisingly, the day before Thanksgiving with 3,551 customers. The largest Average Basket of the year was on December 23, at $46.93.

The Warehouse had Sales of almost $9,800,000. Our Online Store, Wedge Worldwide, had Sales of $53,781.
