Joyce Food Shelf: Wedge shoppers donated 712 lbs. of food in April, 902 lbs. in May and 1,296 lbs. in June.

Haitian Relief: The Cooperative Development Foundation (CDF) thanks co-ops for the outpouring of donations to help co-ops in Haiti recover from the earthquake.

CDF Board Chair Terry Lewis singled out the food cooperative community for their response to the fund raising appeal by offering special thanks: "Every time there has been a major disaster, the food cooperative community has shown great compassion and generosity. They always step up to the challenge and the Haiti response was no different—78% of the funds raised to date have come from food cooperatives and their individual members."
