Customer inquired about seating inside the front doors for people - especially disabled people - to wait for rides.
I am so sorry, but we've been informed that ANY seating doubles the requirement for parking spaces, as per zoning laws, and there's no land available to us for more parking.
You are welcome. There has been some "blowback" about his. But the public has been sold a bill of goods - the cause of heart disease is still not determined. In the meanwhile, eat moderately and enjoy your food greatly!
Sure - in fact, several current instructors discuss them to some extent. Classes are offered by teachers. I'll let them know of this interest.
I'm sorry you find our prices objectionable. We do our best to keep them competitive. We would have to compromise quality or cut staff to lower prices significantly, and we don't believe our members want either. Please tell us more about carts. We have child-friendly carts - we think!
I went to the NRDC web site. All the brands we carry have their green-leaf of approval! No need for the card, in that case. Thanks for the info.
Oh, we feel your pain! Co-op staff, who walk in and out of the store many times a day, are as tired of it as you are. The solicitors are engaging in constutionally protected political speech. The sidewalk is city property - it doesn't belong to the Wedge. Unless solicitors behave illegally, we can't have them removed. (Frankly, we wouldn't want to. Who wants to live in a place where the authorities can limit political activity on city property?) What you can do: Let them know that you are tired of being approached when you come for groceries - tell them how hassled you feel. They have to hear it from you.
I thought we would be able to bring in large packages of yeast for package grocery, but it turns out that we are not able to do so. We will bring back the bulk yeast in the next couple weeks.
You know, we carried this product a while back and it was discontinued due to slow sales - but it's available in single units for special order.
We do carry baking cups - look for them in aisle 2 by the bakery products.
Sorry, this particular flavor is not carried by our vendor.
I will do what I can to squeeze in mace. You may not see it until October. We're trying to stock these more seasonal items (also dill seed) when they're used most, as we don't have enough space to stock them year round. This also insures freshness.
According to our bakery staff, we have three vegan/gluten-free options: coconut macaroons, vegan thrumbprints, and glutenfree shortbread.
We are working on making more room for more GTs as well as changing and renewing our selection in the beverage cooler.
I called Lakewinds - their chocolate covered almonds are not organic (ours are) and that accounts for the price difference. The only sugar-free malted milk balls available cost three times what our current ones cost, and I do not want to carry them for that reason.
Thank you so much! This summer's landscaping has been a huge team effort - Ed, Gil, Alejandro, Molly, Mark and Gregg all deserve the trowel salute!
Thanks for your comment. Cold storage supply (organic) usually runs out by the end of spring and there's a gap until the new crop arrives. We fill the gap with organic New Zealand apples. We now have locally grown apples from Hoch Orchards and will have more in the coming months.
Thanks for the comment. We now have small bags for your convenience!
I have contacted our broker for Spectrum with this concern.
Good idea. We will do that.
We will let the sushi folks know that we could use a few more of this variety.
Thanks for your comments. We feel very fortunate to have such a great staff.
Thanks for your positive feedback regarding the Juice Bar. Unfortunately, there are no plans for the deli/bakery to become certified at this time. But we do plan to offer a few all-organic deli recipes soon.
Currently there are no retail packs of this product available. However, the company is working on this.
