Is there a more environmentally friendly alternative to the plastic bulk and produce bags here at the Wedge?

Re-using your own permanent containers is ideal. Rinsing & re-using plastic bags is also good. If you conclude paper to be more environmentally friendly we have many sizes. Your concern is well founded. Thanks for your question. -Mag D., Grocery Supplies Buyer

Can you make more cranberry walnut bread? There's never any left when I come to buy it.

Could you tell me if it is safe to eat the silk "yogurt" when it is watery on top. And do you know why this happens.

The White Wave people say that because they use no artificial stabilizers or emulsifiers, silk yogurts can become a bit watery on top. Just give it a vigorous stir & its creamy texture will return. -Maggie, Yogurt Buyer

Suggestion: Please do not allow cell phones in the store - it would make it an easier place to shop.

Please consider posting a sign to ask people to get off of their cell phones. This new technology has made people unbearably rude. I like to shop without hearing people's loud, personal conversations. Thank you.

Please make the deli cinnamon cream scones in the circular shape again!!! The triangular shape is less appealing.

No charge for parking please! This is in response to Steve who received a letter in response to discouraging people with cars to shop at the Wedge or charge for parking. I am in need of foods only the Wedge carries & I drive 50 miles one way on Saturday. I hope there remains no charge.

Would it be possible to get organic UNREFINED sunflower or safflower oil? (Preferably sunflower)

We do carry an organic unrefined sunflower oil from Italy. It has been out of stock (awaiting shipment from Europe) - but is due back soon. Also there is an unrefined safflower oil from Spectrum (16-oz size only) which we have added to our selection. Hope this helps. -Fern, Purchasing Manager
