Why do raw organic pecans cost so much?

I will quote the letter I got from my pecan supplier. "The Southern United States produces about 75% of the world supply. Due to significant hurricane (4 of them actually!) damage that hit the summer of 2004, pecans have skyrocketed 70%." I hope that helps.

Would you ever consider getting Altoids? I don't know how natural they are, but are yummy and a great breath freshener. You don't currently have many effective options. Thanks for considering.

Space is so limited for us especially in candy and the front-end displays. Since Altoids are so readily available elsewhere, we will not be picking them up at this time.

Nancy's non-fat 32 oz yogurt is only $2.29 at Whole Foods. Is the Wedge's pricing incorrect?

Thanks for writing. The Nancy's yogurt you mention is the non-organic variety. Whole Foods' organic is a bit less expensive at $3.29 but we can't always meet or beat prices at this national chain store. We'll continue to try.
