Interested in helping to guide the Wedge's future? Care about our membership, how we can compete in a changing business environment and how we can continue the Wedge's phenomenal success? Do you enjoy collaborating with other individuals to solve issues? If you answered yes to these questions, consider being a board candidate! The continued health of our co-op depends on a strong, knowledgeable board. Turn to page 3 for information on board responsibilities, candidate selection criteria and how to obtain an application packet. Board applications are due by 5 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2007. Interviews will take place the last week of July through the first week of August.

Not yet ready to apply to be on the board? Consider being part of our Nominations Committee. The Nominations Committee consists of a board member, a member of the Wedge's management and a Wedge member at large... you! We're seeking a member with experience in Human Resources and/or Business to play an active role in selecting candidates to serve on the board, including application review, interviewing and in creating a slate of board candidates to present to the membership for consideration. If you are interested in being part of this very important process, please email a brief statement explaining your interest and qualifications by June 22nd to wedgehr@wedge.coop.
