Can GM crops solve world hunger? Recent studies and experts say "no." Evidence shows that in reality, genetic modification reduces the productivity of crops. A three year study conducted by the University of Kansas reports that GM soya yielded 10% less product than conventional counterparts, even under "optimal conditions."
