Classes are free and taught by Bob Dahm, owner of Organic Bob, an organic lawn and landscape company. Bob was raised on an Iowa farm by a farmer and soil conservation teacher. As manager of grounds for a children's psychiatric hospital, Bob used organics only on the children's playground. The playground looked better than the grounds which were treated with chemicals, so he switched the entire property to organics. The staff asked him to do the same at their homes, and Organic Bob was born.
