Annual Membership Meeting Celebrates Local Heroes

Wedge Co-op and Linden Hills Co-op are co-hosting our annual membership meetings this year. We're planning a grand celebration of the local heroes who grow and serve organic local food. The meeting takes place Thursday, October 27 at the First Universalist Church, 3400 Dupont Ave. So. in Minneapolis. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with appetizers and a social hour.

The keynote speaker for the event is Lucia Watson, chef-owner of Lucia's Restaurant and Wine Bar in Uptown. Watson is well-known for her commitment to fresh, local ingredients used in a kaleidoscope of creative seasonal dishes. She serves as Board Chair for the Youth Farm and Market project and is on the Organic Advisory Task Force to the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.
