September is designated by the Organic Trade Association as Organic Harvest Month™—a time to focus attention on the benefits and practices of organic agriculture and to encourage consumers to increase their use of certified organic products.

To celebrate, Wedge is giving our Organic Certification pride of place with:

• Our Organic Certificate prominently displayed in the front of the store
• Banners throughout the store proclaiming our Organic Certification
• New signs on Certified Organic products
• The USDA Organic seal prominently on display
• Organic products tracked for you on your receipts

The USDA Organic seal is short-hand for a number of requirements that are verified by an independent third party inspector.

We are proud to be a Certified Organic retailer and proud to display the USDA Organic seal on products we make in our own Deli kitchen. Not many retailers can use the USDA Organic seal. Our entire staff works every day to maintain our Organic Certification, so we are proud to use the official seal.

And check out your receipt! You can track the percentage of organic products you purchase. Through the month of September we are displaying this for you just under your Local total.

There are specials on organic products and demos of organic foods throughout the month.
