2013 Annual Meeting Of The Wedge Coop Membership

All members of The Wedge Community Co-op are invited to attend the 2013 Annual Membership Meeting on Wed., Oct. 23 at St. Mary’s Lake Calhoun Event Center, 3450 Irving Ave. So., Minneapolis, Minn.

Our speaker this year will be Linda Halley, farm manager at our farm, Gardens of Eagan. We’ll see a short video about the farm, and then Linda will talk about the new site and the new projects that it makes possible.

Reports from the board of directors and our CEO will cover the performance of our businesses last year and discuss the developments ahead as we expand over the next several years. We’ll also get a peek at the new look of The Wedge as we move forward with the remodeling of our existing site and opening of a second store.

5:30 p.m.—Doors open
6:00 p.m.—Call to order business meeting
7:00 p.m.—Adjourn meeting, eat dinner and socialize

All members are invited to the Annual Meeting.

New this year: Advance tickets for dinner cost $5 for adults. Dinner will be prepared by our own Wedge Deli and will feature produce from our farm, Gardens of Eagan. Tickets are on sale at the Customer Service desk.

Tickets purchased by 10:00 p.m. Fri. Oct. 18, 2013, will be refunded when you register at the annual meeting. The charge is to help us get an accurate count for the meeting so we avoid food waste.

Tickets sold after the deadline, including at the meeting, cost $10 per adult and are nonrefundable.
