Spring Rejuvenation Skin Care

After months of winter weather, our skin often needs extra attention. It’s time to switch up your routine, but how do you determine which products are best? We asked our staff about their skincare regime and co-op products that work best for their skin types. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to talk to our Health and Body Care staff in the store.

Skin Type 4 - Sensitive, acne-prone

Wash face with Acure Sensitive Facial Cleanser

Apply homemade salt water spray with a cotton ball

Place a small dab of bulk shea butter in the palm of hand, rub hands together to warm and soften shea, then gently pat hands over face

Using a 4 oz. glass spray bottle, fill with half water, half Heritage Store Rose Water. Mix in a tablespoon of Himalayan pink salt (fine grind) and 3 drops of Veriditas Skin Clarity essential oil. Shake well to dissolve the salt. Warm water helps to speed up the process.

Skin Type 5 - Sensitive, mildly dry

Wash face with Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotic Kampuku Beauty Bar before shaving off whiskers

Soothe redness and irritation from shaving with spritz of Veriditas Calm Skin Drops, combined with water in spray bottle

As needed throughout the day, apply Veriditas Helychrysm or Veriditas Rose Otto Hydrosol

If skin feels extra dry, use Derma-E Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Apply Evan Healy French Rose Clay Mask once a week

Skin Type 6 - Combination, oily t-zone
